Before you guide rest, you need to experience it in your own body

Restorative Yoga is not about stretching, fixing, or pushing the body.

It is about creating the conditions for the nervous system to soften, downregulate, and shift toward repair, restoration, and clarity.

That is why this training begins with you.

Before teaching Restorative Yoga responsibly, you need more than a few poses or beautiful setups.

You need to understand what this practice is doing, why it works, and how to experience its effects from the inside.

In this foundational training, you will begin to build that understanding through both study and practice.

Who this training is for

This training is for you if:

  • you are a yoga teacher and want to integrate Restorative Yoga with more clarity, safety, and depth

  • you feel called to teach Restorative Yoga, but want a strong foundation before guiding others

  • you want a structured path rather than collecting poses without understanding the method behind them

  • you are a dedicated practitioner ready to commit to a consistent and meaningful restorative practice

  • you are drawn to a therapeutic, nervous-system-based approach to yoga

No previous experience in Restorative Yoga is required.

Only curiosity, commitment, and a willingness to slow down and learn deeply.

What you'll gain from this training

Over six weeks, you will:

  • build a clear and consistent personal Restorative Yoga practice

  • understand the principles behind Restorative Yoga and nervous system regulation

  • learn why props, breath, pacing, and sensory support matter

  • explore how Restorative Yoga can support stress, fatigue, burnout, and chronic overload

  • practice 6 essential restorative postures with clear demonstrations, variations, and guidance

  • develop the embodied understanding needed before teaching others

  • This training is designed to help you feel, understand, and integrate the foundations of Restorative Yoga in a real and lasting way.

The training includes:

  • Pre-recorded video lessons divided into 6 clear chapters

  • 6 in-depth pose demonstrations with variations and prop adaptations

  • 7 guided restorative relaxation practices

  • Suggested sequences to support daily or weekly practice

  • Bonus: 4 guided Restorative Yoga practices. Two full-length 90-minute classes and two shorter 30-minute practices to help you embody the foundations of Restorative Yoga through direct experience.

  • Each part of the training is designed to help you move from information to embodied experience — so that your understanding becomes practical, lived, and transferable.

Since 2015, she has trained more than 1,200 students and supported hundreds of teachers in integrating Restorative Yoga into their classes, therapeutic work, and daily lives. Audrey is also the author of The Teacher’s Guide to Restorative Yoga, to be published in English by North Atlantic Books in June 2026.
